An Open Letter to Lawmakers Regarding Hobby Lobby and The Religious Freedom Restoration Act

Sir or Madam,
I am disappointed in the recent Supreme Court ruling in the Hobby Lobby case. I do not believe that anyone has the right to exempt themselves from the law based on religious beliefs. I believe this decision will be applied unfairly, thus the government will show favor to one religion over others, thus violating the Establishment Clause. This is especially harmful in the Hobby Lobby case, as it prevents women from having all the reproductive health options that they should be entitled to under the Affordable Care Act.

My request is that you move to amend the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) in the following way:
Entities who want to claim an exemption can do so only when the exemption causes no harm to others.
